Gerui Wang

About Me

I am a blockchain research scientist at Beijing Academy of Blockchain and Edge Computing, holding the same position at National Center of Technology Innovation for Blockchain. I am actively seeking collaboration with researchers in areas related to blockchain technology.

I earned my Ph.D. in Computer Science at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, under the supervision of Prof. Pramod Viswanath.

I obtained my bachelor’s degree at Yao Class, IIIS, Tsinghua University.

Blockchain: blockchain security and scalability
Distributed protocol: consensus, distributed computing, distributed storage
Zero-knowledge proof: zkSNARKs, zkRollups, zkVMs
